On Saturday, March 23, we will be partnering with Financial Futures at CVOEO, Champlain College, HireAbility Vermont, Mercy Connections, Inc., and Vermont Works for Women to host the first annual Career Empowerment Day from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the O’Brien Community Center in Winooski.
The day will include:

- Resume review
- Interview preparation
- Support understanding income taxes
- Benefit navigation
- Advice on budgeting with a new wage
- Career navigation resources
- Community resources
- Upcoming Job-Fairs
- Free professional clothing
- Come for the skill-building, leave with a new work outfit (or two!)
Light drinks and snacks will be provided. Drop in for an hour or stay the entire event; we have lots to share with you!
