Role at VAL: Advising Coordinator, Chittenden Learning Center
Where were you born? Born and raised on Long Island!
What is your educational background? I have a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education with a minor in Social Justice from Champlain College and completed my Master’s in Equity and Diversity in Education at the University of Nevada, Reno.
Interesting past job? When I was in college I was a hostess at a pinball and vintage game arcade and restaurant!
What is a unique hobby or interest you have? I am obsessed with food and love searching for new places to eat… I once drove 2 hours for the “best tacos” in the state!
Last book you read? Funny Story by Emily Henry
How do you enjoy spending your free time? I love traveling and exploring new places with my husband and two littles. I’m also a big fan of board and card games.
How long have you worked for VAL? I have been in this role as Advising Coordinator since December ’24. I also worked at VAL as an Advisor from 2018-2020!
