  1. If I were an animal I would be a whale, calm and lonely, floating through years of cold and all consuming water. I would be a whale moving slowly, but yet peacefully.
  2. If I were a car I would be an old model with shiny new paint. Perhaps deceiving to the eye in brightness and appeal but tired and worn down all the same.
  3. If I were an item of clothing I would be a hat, an interesting decoration but not essential and only needed or desired periodically.
  4. If I was a day of the week I would be Wednesday, hanging between the days of the week and never fully deciding one way or another.
  5. If I was a food I would be a lemon, tasteful and essential in small amounts but overwhelming and hated in concentration or natural form.
  6. If I was a color I would be gray, hard to distinguish from the various other shades but hopeless and unique all the way.
  7. If I were a movie I would be a psychological thriller, not particularly eventful but deeply complex.
  8. If I were a fragrance I would smell of pine trees, overpowering yet natural.
  9. If I were a building I would be a lighthouse, solid and alone, fervent in character and steadiness.
  10. If I were a plant I would be a wild rose, small and delicate but with a sharp and thorn covered exterior.
  11. If I were a musical instrument I would be a piano, keys flying under both hands in a constant state of motion and action.
  12. If I were a geometric shape I would be a triangle, simple and strong, successful in withstanding time and weather.
  13. If I were a piece of furniture I would be a bookshelf, entrusted with the secrets of all, but unable to personally disclose such information.
  14. If I were a song I would be a Grimes song, electronic and fancy but aching and haunting in nature.
  15. If I were a season I would be fall, stuck in transition and always hung between two extremes.
  16. If I were a television character I would be the background character, intensely interesting but forever private and waiting behind the scenes.
  17. If I were a comic or cartoon character I would be Lisa Simpson, frustrated and alone in beliefs and conviction.
  18. If I were an appliance or machinery I would be a vacuum, removing mistakes and clutter from everyone’s lives without thanks or appreciation.
  19. If I were a natural phenomenon I would be a hurricane, powerful and graceful but extremely destructive, sweeping through towns and cities in its path.
  20. If I were a word I would be a verb, forever stuck in motion and destined to be on the move without rest.
