Q. Where were you born?
A. I was born in Morgan City, Louisiana but grew up in Winterville, North Carolina. The mountains eventually called me to Vermont!
Q. What is your educational background?
A. I earned a B.S. in English Education from East Carolina University in 2010. I also hold an MA and PhD in English from The University of Birmingham’s Shakespeare Institute, located in Stratford-upon-Avon, UK.
Q. What is the last book you read?
A. Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe, by Benjamin Alire Sáenz.
Q. How do you enjoy spending your free time?
A. I love to spend time with my pets, Monkey and Walden. I also enjoy yoga, meditation, hiking, reading, crafting, and spending time in nature.
Q. Why did you choose to work at VT Adult learning?
A. I chose to work at VAL because I believe in the transformative power of education and that it should be accessible to all!
