VAL instructor Joy Gaine’s English Language Learning students recently enjoyed a lesson about making phone calls. They had to match common phone call phrases with correct responses. The lesson plan must have been created years ago, as it included… “The line is busy!” Who remembers that lovely busy signal?!
Joy’s students also enjoyed a visit to The Hood Art Museum in Hanover, NH. It was fun for staff and students to see writing in Arabic and Chinese to have it personally translated into English!
