Action Needed! Advocate for Adult Education Funding (7/15/2025) - Education providers around the country, including Vermont Adult Learning, are facing significant uncertainty regarding federal funding. While Congress has approved these funds and we have a signed contract securing them for FY26, we do not know when - or if - these funds will be released. If these funds are withheld, VAL will lose approximately $400,000 in expected revenue. Juneteenth Event Roundup (6/9/2025) - Juneteenth is just around the corner! On June 19, 1865, nearly two years after President Abraham Lincoln emancipated enslaved Africans in America, Union troops arrived in Galveston Bay, Texas with news of freedom.
